Proxy Voting

Owners who are unable to attend meetings may choose to appoint a proxy vote on their behalf. For large strata schemes, a proxy form needs to be given to the Secretary of the owners corporation at least 24 hours before the meeting. For other schemes, the proxy form can be given at or before the meeting. The number of proxy votes able to be held by one person is:

• One proxy vote only for strata schemes with 20 lots or less, or
• A number of no more than 5% of the total number of lots, for strata schemes with more than 20 lots.
